Baby Nightlights Could Cause Small Explosion
Babystart nightlights have been recalled after it was discovered that they could cause possible electric shocks.
The nightlights which are sold both at Argos and Homebase have been made without an internal fuse which could lead to premature failure of other parts of the light.
If the electrical current spikes the nightlight could fail and produce smoke or even cause a small explosion.
It has been discovered that the Babystart Nightlight doesn’t comply with the Low Voltage Directive or the relevant national standard.
The number of the model affected in Argos is 910/4000 and in Homebase it is 126116.
The batch and barcode number is: Article – 126116 – Homebase Bar Code – 5051549099089 Argos Sku – 9104000
