British tourist ‘sexually assaulted twice’ during dream Caribbean holiday
A holiday is supposed to be a happy time to explore new surroundings, wind down and make memories.

Gemma Khan, 25, recalls her story, as told to the Sunday Mirror, about how she was assaulted not once, but twice, while on holiday last month at the Be Live Collection Marien Hotel in the Dominican Republic.
The first incident occurred when two local men tried to untie her bikini as she walked from the pool side to her hotel room.
Just two days later, a member of staff stroked her leg in the onsite souvenir shop.
After the incidents, and not being taken seriously by the Thomson Representative, she was too afraid to leave her room, not the adventure and relaxation she had hoped for.
