Oakwood Solicitors are helping Mr M make a criminal injuries compensation claim after he was the innocent victim of a horrifically violent crime.
Mr M had been enjoying a night out with his friends in a club. Mr M went to the bar at the nightclub to order some drinks. As Mr M turned round from the bar he was suddenly attacked by someone with a blade; Mr M believes it was a Stanley knife or similar thin sharp blade. His attacker slashed him across his neck on the top of his head across his lip and on the outside of his left wrist.
Mr M had no idea who the attacker was or why anyone would want to attack him in such a violent manner. Mr M had not been involved in any sort of altercation through the night nor had he provoked the unknown man into attacking him.
As a result of the attack Mr M lost six pints of blood and had to have a blood transfusion. R M still has no feeling on the left side of his face due to the scar that has been left there. Because of the 12cm slash across his neck Mr M’s glands were cut in half. Mr M also has a 6cm scar on the top of his head a 4cm scar across his lip and a 5cm scar on his wrist.
