Our Employment Law and HR Package is a fixed-fee, annual subscription
support service, delivered to you by qualified lawyers and backed by
insurance to give you complete piece of mind.

We cover businesses of all sizes

We have a wide range of clients currently benefitting from our service. Some are family-owned and run small businesses, where we operate as their primary HR contact or liaise with the person responsible for HR in the company.

Other clients are far larger businesses and utilise us as additional support for their existing HR teams, or to handle issues where they feel unable to do so.

A bespoke service for your unique needs

You will be personally assigned an expert from our team as your key contact at the start of your subscription. We will undertake an initial audit of your current documentation such as your contract of employment and any policies you may have in place. If necessary, we can either amend these or draft new, bespoke contracts to fit your requirements.

During your subscription you have unlimited access to legal support handled by your key contact to ensure not only do we understand your business and desired outcomes, but also provide you with the appropriate level of continuity of service.

We will always try to understand your preferred outcome to a situation and work towards achieving your goal.

  • Assistance from qualified experts in drafting or enhancing existing bespoke HR documentation, including Contracts of Employment, Staff Handbooks, Family Friendly Handbooks, Privacy Notices and other bespoke HR policies.
  • Our insurance (Before the Event Legal Expenses Insurance) that is incorporated into our package, means that we reduce the risk of businesses failing due to being caught up in costly and time-consuming litigation.

Our team will also draft any necessary documentation required for your business such as: disciplinary invite and outcome letters, grievance invite and outcome letters, redundancy consultation letters, maternity leave letters, furlough letters and whatever else you may require.

 

 

Why do I need insurance and what does it cover?

 

If the offer of unlimited advice and a dedicated team of lawyers on hand at all times to advise you is not enough, our package can provide your business with Legal Expense Insurance to protect and shield your business in the event of an Employment Tribunal claim. Employment Tribunal representing is the ONLY aspect of Employment Law not covered by the fixed fee retainer.

 

Due to the abolishment of the requirement for employees to pay fees to bring Employment Tribunal claims, there has been a sharp rise in claims against employers, and sadly this rise has just continued since the COVID-19 pandemic. The average cost of defending one claim is around £8,000 + VAT per case – which an employer is unlikely to be able to recoup from the employee, even if the employer successfully defends the claim, and the claim was without any real merit.

 

The package is available without the insurance if you prefer, or perhaps have existing cover under one of your other insurance policies.

How is the price calculated?

 

Like the services we offer, we tailor our pricing to each company’s unique needs. This ensures you are only paying for the exact services you require.

If you need any extra services from us we are happy to discuss amending our contract with you at any time.
