What documents can we draft as part of the Employment Law and HR Package?
Our team will also draft any necessary documentation required for your business such as: disciplinary invite and outcome letters, grievance invite and outcome letters, redundancy consultation letters, maternity leave letters, furlough letters and whatever else may be required.
Why do I need insurance and what does it cover?
If the offer of unlimited advice and a dedicated team of lawyers on hand at all times to advise you is not enough, our package can provide Legal Expenses Insurance to protect your business in the event of an Employment Tribunal claim. Employment Tribunal representation is the ONLY aspect of Employment Law not covered by the fixed fee retainer.
Due to the abolishment of the requirement for employees to pay fees to bring Employment Tribunal claims, there has been a sharp rise in claims against employers. Sadly, this rise has continued since the COVID-19 pandemic. The average cost of defending one claim is around £8,000 +VAT per case – which an employer is unlikely to be able to recoup from the employee, even if the employer successfully defends the claim, and the claim was without any real merit.
The package is available without the insurance if you prefer, or perhaps have existing cover under one of your other insurance policies.
