Electric Bike Recalled Due to Ineffective Brake System

The Velo Hightech model electric bicycle of manufacturer Wanbaolu has been recalled as the braking system has been deemed ineffective.

There are also concerns that the saddle and handlebar are not adequately fixed in placed and the pedal axle may easily break while in use.

The products do not comply with the European safety standard EN 14764 and EN 15194 or the relevant UK standards.
