    Leeds Woman Suffers Life Threatening Injuries After Dog Attack

    A woman remains in hospital after suffering life threatening injuries from a dog attack in east Leeds.
    The 27-year-old woman was injured at around 2:20pm on Dawlish Avenue Osmondthorpe.
    A West Yorkshire Police spokesman told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “Police received reports of a woman in distress at an address in Dawlish Avenue Osmondthorpe.
    “Officers attended and found a 27-year-old woman with serious dog bite injuries. She has been taken to Leeds General infirmary for treatment.
    “One dog which got loose from the property was contained by officers in Back Dawlish Road and recovered and another was safely removed the address a short time later.”
    Residents in the local area reported that the police had managed to corner the dog at the end of Dawlish Road.
