Home » News & Knowledge » Free Wills Month – Calendar

As part of our desire to help local businesses and charitable organisations, we regularly participate in ‘Free Wills Month’ promotions throughout the year.

By signing up for a Will during Free Wills Month, you get to have a simple single or mirror Will for yourself and/or your partner at no cost. All we ask is that you give a donation to the participating charity. See below for our list of upcoming Will Months:

    September 2019:

    • Leeds Women’s Aid

“Our mission is to protect women and families from the damage that Domestic Violence & Abuse can inflict on their lives.

“Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is an independent charity, formed in 1972, providing services to women and children affected by Domestic Violence & Abuse (DV & A). We provide a range of the very best services for vulnerable women and families who are victims and survivors of domestic, sexual and honour based violence and abuse; forced marriage; trafficking; stalking and harassment.”

    • Breast Cancer Haven

“We support anyone affected by breast cancer for free. From our welcoming centre in Leeds, Yorkshire, our counsellors, therapists and health professionals offer you the support you need to help you with your own personal challenges of living with breast cancer.

“Anyone can come to our centre. There are no geographical restrictions and no need for a doctors referral. Just get in touch and make an appointment today.”

    October 2019:

    • St Gemma’s Hospice

“We offer care tailored to the needs of our patients and their carers in the Hospice’s 32-bed In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team and via our day services, which includes a Day Hospice and Out-Patient Clinic.”

    • Free Will Network

    November 2019:

    • Will Aid

“Since 1988, Will Aid has enabled the legal profession to raise over £20 million for good causes. The Will Aid charities all work with the most vulnerable people in the UK and around the world, so that sum of money will have improved countless lives.

“Over those years, Will Aid has encouraged and helped more than 300,000 people to make Wills. By writing their Wills, these people may have spared their family the distress of coping with legal complications as well as losing a loved one.”
