Mr H was at work sweeping out the rear of the trailer when his accident occurred. Whilst he was sweeping out the trailer Mr H tripped on a breaker cable that had been left trailing under the load of gravel chips.

When Mr H tripped he fell from the truck and suffered a broken wrist. Oakwood Solicitors were able to claim compensation for Mr h as the accident was not his fault. Mr H sustained an injury due to the negligence of others.

In the past figures have shown that slip trip and fall incidents in the workplace have cost 40 workers their lives in one year. Also in a year over 15000 major injuries to workers have been caused by slips trips and falls and over 30000 workers have taken more than three days off work.
