With the new release of FIFA 17; are you chances of RSI going to increase?
In line with the release of the ever so popular footballing franchise game FIFA 17. We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make you aware of RSI and the seriousness of this condition; just in case you/ or your children are planning on playing the video game non-stop tonight.
Activities such as going on computers with a keyboard and mouse, playing on games consoles, and texting on mobile phones can all cause repetitive strain injuries.
RSI (Repetitive staining injury) is the general term used to describe the pain felt in muscles, nerves and tendons caused by repetitive movement and overuse. This condition can affect many parts on the upper body including: Forearms or elbows, Wrist and hands and neck and shoulders.

To prevent yourself from developing this nasty condition it’s important to take regular breaks i.e. if you’re playing a video game; make sure you fit in at least a 5 minute break every 30 minutes. Same goes to any activity where you are repeating the same repetitive movement.
