Our client paid thousands of pounds for the placement of an implant at the front of her smile. Unfortunately, the negligent dentist placed the implant incorrectly and caused damage to the inferior alveolar nerve. As a result, our client suffered from numbness in her chin, lower face and lips.

The Defendant was investigated by the General Dental Council (GDC) who issued a Formal written warning to him. The GDC found that the Defendant’s fitness to practise was impaired by reason of misconduct on the grounds that he:
