Nathan Clay obtained his law degree in 1996, then completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, York. He did his training contract at a York Solicitors practice and qualified as a Solicitor in 2001.

Nathan has specialized in Personal Injury and Medical Negligence law for over 25 years, often dealing with high value and complex cases, including catastrophic injuries and fatalities.

He has worked at law firms in North and West Yorkshire during his career and joined the Medical Negligence department at Oakwood Solicitors in 2025. He prides himself on providing practical, easily understandable advice, giving high levels of client care, and obtaining the best possible outcomes.
