Patrick Cable joined Oakwood Solicitors in May 2025 as a Paralegal in the Employment Department.
Patrick is diversifying into the Employment Law sector from having a solid background in HR, having previously worked in supervisory and management positions. Patrick has a strong interest and flare for understanding employment disputes and has previous experience of dealing with maternity and pay issues and the processes involved in taking these matters forward to a successful conclusion. He also has experience in the quality & compliance sector and has enjoyed the transition from HR to legal work seeing many similarities, and long term hopes to pursue a career in Employment Litigation and advice on all aspects of Employment Law.
