Madeleine Toates Joined Oakwood Solicitors as a Paralegal in the Industrial Disease team.

Maddie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 with a 2:1 in Law. After graduating, she spent a year working as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, which gave her valuable experience supporting vulnerable individuals and strengthened her passion for helping others.

She later completed a Master’s Degree in Law and Social Justice at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2023. Following this, Maddie worked for a healthcare company before spending seven months travelling in Canada, where she volunteered with animal sanctuaries.

Maddie joined us as the first step in her legal career. She looks forward to growing and developing her knowledge and experience, while supporting clients through challenging circumstances.
