The prime minister’s official spokesman confirmed that claims related to his previous tenure, bringing the total of claims being investigated up to eight by senior lawyer, Adam Tolley KC.

Mr Raab, who was reappointed as Rishi Sunak’s justice secretary and deputy prime minister in October, has denied all accusations of bullying levelled against him. He stated in front of the Joint Human Rights Committee last week, that he had “behaved professionally throughout”.
He added that he would rather this be cleared up with some transparency, instead of by “tittle tattle that’s anonymously leaked to the media”. Raab is an old face in Government, both as MP for Esher and Walton and within Boris Johnson’s Conservative cabinet.
The three prior complaints were alleged to have taken place within his positions of foreign secretary, Brexit secretary, and during time at the Ministry of Justice.
Questions have been raised as to how Dominic Raab has managed to retain his cabinet role in spite of the allegations against him, to which the prime minister’s official spokesman stated: “We think it’s right there is an independent process, that the investigator looks into these claims thoroughly before coming to a view.”
Mr Tolley, who will report directly to the prime minister, was appointed by Sunak himself to look into the claims against Mr. Raab in November of this year. A government source has said that the investigation will be “swiftly” concluded.
