On 17th October we were excited to be invited to the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Awards 2019, hosted by the RFCA for Yorkshire and The Humber.

Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Awards 2019

The evening took place at the glorious Bradford City Hall and awards were presented by the region’s Lord Lieutenants.

The Employers Recognition Scheme (ERS) was launched in 2014 by the Prime Minister to recognise employer support for the Armed Forces Covenant. The awards recognise an employer’s contribution to supporting the Armed Forces community, including reserves, cadets, and military spouses and families.

To receive a silver award, an employer must have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, and must demonstrate that they actively ensure that their workforce is aware of their positive policies towards Defence personnel issues.

Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s awards:

    • SBL
    • Irwin Mitchell
    • Victvs
    • Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust
    • Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
    • Humberside Fire and Rescue
    • The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust
    • North Lincolnshire Council
