Event Industry News Survey – Workplace Wellbeing

Event Industry News has revealed that, over the last 12 months, nearly half of employers in the events industry have taken a more active role in trying to improve workplace wellbeing.

The research completed bi-annually by Stress Matters, which had 430 respondents, shows that 45% of event industry professionals have reported seeing more effort by their employers to improve workplace wellbeing.

The founder of Stress Matters, Laura Capell-Abra, says that they are “encouraged to see such huge progress… however, [they] still have a long way to go”.

She clarifies by explaining that many initiatives that are being implemented are not approached strategically and, whilst it is better than doing nothing, she believes that wellbeing should be approached like any other business strategy with measurable goals and a clear plan.
