Hotpoint/Indesit Gas Cookers Safety Notice Issued Following Potential Gas Leak

 

Indesit Company have received reports that some gas cookers which were bought and sold in the UK over October and November 2013 may have a component that might fail which could potentially lead to a gas leak. They have said that it was only in a small number of cases and could be a safety hazard.

 

They have so far found and identified 75% of the affected models and want to find the rest.

The products affected are;

Model: CH60GC HAG60. HUD61 HUG61 I6G52 I6GG1 ID60G2 JLG61 these all have the serial number 31002XXXX

ID60G2 these all have the serial number 30924XXXX

 

What you need to do

If you own one of the affected models find and check the serial number which can be found on a stick on the inside of the top oven door.

If you have one of the affected models calls the dedicated Customer Service line: 01733287843 or email them on cookers@hotpoint.co.uk.

The company will arrange a visit to repair your machine for free. Do not use the cooker prior to the engineers visit.
