Loch Arthur have recalled batches of their Criffel unpasteurised cheese after Listeria monocytogenes was detected in the product.

The product affected is;

Product Name: Criffel

Brand Name: Loch Arthur Creamery

Type of Product: Full fat semi-soft unpasteurised cheese

Production date: 11 November 2013 15 November 2013.

Listeria can be very dangerous for pregnant women unborn and new born babies people with reduced immunity – especially the over 60s.

If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead return it to store where you bought it.
