Home » News & Knowledge » If you have sustained injuries similar to the iconic figure of the 1950’s Montgomery Clift you could be owed thousands of pounds in personal injury compensation if you were not to blame for the incident.

Montgomery Clift was injured in a car accident at the time he was filming Raintree County. Mr Clift left a friends dinner party one evening and set off driving in his car. Whilst he was travelling home he lost control of his car and smashed into a telegraph pole.

The nature of his facial injuries was so severe that there was a chance he could have been left permanently disfigured. The near-fatal accident that Montgomery Clift was injured in resulted in him losing teeth breaking his nose fracturing his jaw and sustaining a laceration from his nose through his upper lip.

Because Montgomery Clift was entirely responsible for his own accident occurring he was unable to claim compensation for the damage he sustained to his face which must have been incredibly hard for him. Thankfully if you have sustained facial injuries in a car accident you can get help to claim the compensation you are entitled to.

    Claims Against Untraced Motoristss

Following a collision like the one the Montgomery Clift was injured in you need to seek car accident compensation advice as soon as possible to ensure you do not miss out of your chance to make a claim.

Mr. M found himself in a situation where claiming compensation seemed to be the only option to help gain closure on the incident and move on. Mr. M was injured when a third party vehicle operator smashed into the back of his vehicle with such force that Mr. M’s car was shunted straight into the car in front. The double impact from the collision and the sheer force of the impact itself was enough to leave Mr. M suffering from some very serious injuries.

Mr. M decided to seek help and advice from the personal injury lawyers on the serious road traffic accident team about making a claim for personal injury compensation. No matter what your circumstances it is your legal right to pursue compensation if a third party driver has caused you to sustained injuries in the last three years.

A total of £3125.00 was awarded to Mr. M for the horrifically painful injuries he sustained in the collision. Another excellent result for Oakwood Solicitors and we are extremely pleased that Mr. M has the compensation he deserves.
