    Abbie Keech, Director and Head of RTA at Oakwood Solicitors is letting go of her current position to be pursue another role as Managing Director of the successful law firm.

     

    Mrs Keech has entered into an agreement to purchase 100 percent of Oakwoods equity from founder and current owner, Oakwood for an undisclosed sum, talking about the move she said “This is an incredible opportunity to own a business that I love.”

    “Oakwoods has had a very successful 14 years since it was formed, and due to the exceptional service that we provide our clients it continues to grow from strength to strength, this deal will help the firm focus on the future growth and expansion.”

    Mrs Keech has worked in the law firm for 11 years, managing several of its growth services (including RTA and Personal Injury), the move will also see Rob Crompton take over the day to day management of the RTA team.

    “When discussions started on the future of the business, I knew that this was an opportunity that couldn’t be missed and I jumped at the chance that been offered to me.” explained Abbie

    Oakwood Solicitors is a well-respected regional law firm businesses with clients from all around the UK, the management and strategy of the business has stayed fairly constant over the past 14 years and it is now preparing itself for sustained growth.

    “It’s too early to confirm the direction the business will take, but we are still focussed on providing the range of services and client care that Oakwood has driven for over the years.” continued Abbie.

    The firm will continue to focus on its core practice areas (Personal Injury, RTA, Employment and Workplace Stress).

    Abbie intends to increase client share with organic growth and, perhaps someday, future acquisitions.

    Commenting on the transaction, founder, Oakwood said “Abbie has been a tremendous asset to the firm over the years, and I know that the future of the firm is in excellent hands. It’s been an extremely rewarding business to manage, we have a great team of people in the firm that will all get behind Abbie and will push for greater success.”

    Michael will stay on within the firm as a Director.
