Oakwood Solicitors is proud to announce that it has been awarded the 2025 Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award (#SilverERS25) by the UK Ministry of Defence.

This prestigious recognition highlights the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and delivering on its pledges under the Armed Forces Covenant.

The ERS Silver Award is granted to organisations that demonstrate exceptional support for Defence personnel, including reservists, veterans, spouses, and cadet force adult volunteers. Silver Award holders must meet strict criteria, such as:

Employing at least one member of the Armed Forces community.
Actively promoting positive policies towards Defence personnel within the organisation.
Supporting reservist mobilisation commitments.
Engaging with the Cadet movement.
Providing a minimum of five additional days’ paid leave for reservist training.
