    Online Invisalign dental treatment

Home » News & Knowledge » Online Invisalign dental treatment

During the COVID Pandemic people were not able to get the dental treatment they required, so people were seeking online dental treatment which has continued through to present day.

Further to this, many people thought that it was time to get their teeth straightened with the rise in popularity of Invisalign and invisible removable braces.

    Online Invisalign

There was a rise of companies offering online Invisalign treatment with a much-reduced fee from those provided by Dental Practitioners. This is better known as tele-dentistry. These were and continue to be heavily advertised on all social media platforms.

However, these online and virtual smile checks and moulds may not meet the standard required by law and can result in long-lasting and painful damage to your teeth and bite.

The online nature of Invisalign places an onus on the patients to understand their current dental health and possibly attempt to avoid the need for costly scans and radiographs.

It is very important that the correct scans and oral hygiene are considered but this is not always possible with a patient-led treatment.

Therefore, if you have online invisible braces/Invisalign and have suffered from an altered bite, pain, bleeding or any other damage you may be entitled to bring about a clinical negligence claim.
