Sarah Hull
Consultant Solicitor, Family Law
While I do not personally have a background in the military or armed forces, I deeply respect and appreciate the unique challenges faced by individuals and families in these roles.
My focus is always on understanding my clients’ specific circumstances, including the pressures and nuances that military life can bring to situations like separation or divorce.
Clients often ask:
These questions are natural, and I strive to provide clear, tailored advice to address them.
Not necessarily. Many cases can be resolved without requiring court appearances, especially if agreements can be reached through mediation or negotiation.
However, if disputes persist, attending court may become necessary. In such instances, I ensure my clients feel well-prepared and supported throughout the process.
Absolutely. Beyond legal expertise, I can connect clients with a network of professionals for emotional, financial, or practical support.
This might include counsellors, financial advisors, or organisations specialising in co-parenting. Ensuring clients have access to a holistic support system is integral to my approach.
One prevalent myth is that the legal system inherently favours the wife when dividing assets or determining custody. In reality, the law aims to achieve fairness by considering the needs of both parties and any children involved.
While outcomes can vary depending on individual circumstances, assuming a fixed bias can lead to unnecessary defeatism or conflict. Engaging skilled representation ensures your case is presented fairly and your rights are protected.
