“There will have to be substantive research, development and testing on this product before it should be allowed back into general use, as it is considered that this mesh or the use of this mesh is the cause of thousands of women’s lives being devastated.
“To allow the mesh to be used without the above will probably lead to more harm being caused to patients and to a loss of trust, not only in the Mesh product and the NHS, but the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE).”
