Liam Hill

Solicitor - Industrial Disease

Liam Hill is a Solicitor working within the Industrial Disease Team, having trained and qualified at Oakwood Solicitors. Liam joined us in 2013 after successfully completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law and having studied Law at Lincoln University.

Down-to-earth in his approach to legal advice, he is enthusiastic in ensuring the Claimants who instruct him to attain the most out of their Industrial Disease claim. He is an experienced Industrial Disease litigator and is well versed in proceeding matters to trial where early amicably settlement cannot be reached.

Having a family background in both the military and woodworking/joinery sectors, his ability to understand the nature of Claimants working in those fields second to none.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Noise-Induced Hearing Loss
  • Work Related Upper Limb Disorders (Including Hand Arm Vibration and Carpal Tunnel)
  • Repetitive Strain Injuries
  • Carbon Monoxide and Dioxide Exposure and other substance exposures

Liam is easy to approach and is more than happy to take the time to explain the merits of a proposed claim to a Claimant and enjoys nothing more than ensuring that the Claimant is fully informed as to the complexities of their case.

He has successfully settled a number of Industrial Disease claims, while his primary focus is on Noise-Induced Hearing Loss. A keen computer enthusiast – part of his role now involves programming and administering the computer system utilised by the Industrial Disease department.
