Tixylix Cough Medicines is Being Recalled After Manufacturing Error Means Pieces of Plastic Might Be Found in the Bottle
Novertis Consumer Health UK Ltd are called several ranges of children’s medicine after they found an error in the tamper seal which meant that pieces of plastic could be left in the bottle.
The products affected are:
- Tixylix Toddler Syrup 100ml – PL 00030/0150 (Glycerol)
- Tixylix Toddler Syrup 150ml – PL 00030/0150 (Glycerol)
- Tixylix Baby Syrup 100ml – PL 00030/0150 (Glycerol)
- Tixylix Blackcurrant Flavour Syrup 100ml – PL 00030/0150 (Glycerol)
- Tixylix Chesty Cough 100ml PL 00030/0082 (Guaifenesin)
The precautionary recalled affects the Tixylix medicines which were manufactured from October 2012 onwards.
