Job Title: Solicitor/Fee Earner with 2+ Years Experience

Reporting to: Head of Clinical Negligence

Department: Clinical Negligence

Award-winning North Leeds Firm is looking for a Solicitor/Fee Earner with experience in dealing with Claimant Clinical Negligence matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven and motivated candidate to be involved with the expansion of our Clinical Negligence department.

Key Tasks

• Handling a variety of clinical negligence claims from inception to settlement, including both pre and post litigation claims.

Essential Knowledge

• Litigation experience is essential to this role
• Excellent understanding of CPR Rules and The Pre-Action Protocol for the Resolution of Clinical Disputes
• Experience in handling a variety of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to completion.
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Experience of working to targets and KPIs

Desirable Knowledge

• Experience using Proclaim database is preferable
• Training junior staff members in handling clinical negligence claims
• Working with marketing to expand the department

Experience

• 2 years + experience in handling Claimant Clinical Negligence claims is essential.

Remuneration

Dependent upon experience.

Working hours

Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:00.
